Testimonials

A few of my clients sat down on camera to talk about what working together has been like. Here they are, in their own words.

“Someone That Cared”

When Manny Aniceto was getting ready to retire, he interviewed several financial advisors. He had built a business that created value, and he wanted what he had handled by a professional, someone who cared.

What stood out about Shaun was that he worked as a fiduciary and was not going to sell products to collect commission. Manny learned things he had never been exposed to before, and today he feels “very comfortable, very confident” that Shaun is the person to carry this on for him and his family, including the legacy he wants to leave his children.

“He Really Just Made It All a Breeze”

Because of Denise’s career at large banks, Rick and Denise were required for years to use the investment firms tied to those banks. They saw the pressure advisors at big banks were under to sell their own products, and they did not always feel the recommendations were what was best for them.

They first worked with Shaun on individual products, and over the years it became clear he had much more to offer. He brought them a range of options, got to know their family well enough to be at their son’s graduation party, and changed their whole perspective on finance, so it was no longer “something to be like really worried about.” As they put it, “I trust him with my life.”

“We Can Breathe a Bit”

Ted and Stephanie Grove met Shaun when their daughters were young and long-term thinking wasn’t on their radar yet. When a distribution came their way, they had to balance college savings funds, home improvements, and a retirement plan distribution, all of it new to them, and they liked right away that Shaun felt like “a regular guy.” He came to their home, met their daughters, and became their sounding board.

The Groves say they tended to think micro, not macro, and Shaun got them thinking forward about where they wanted to be years down the road. They put a plan together back when they had little to nothing, and today, in their words, “We can breathe, we can breathe a bit, which is nice.”

Your next step

Two ways to start.

Start with a score, not a sales call

Score the advice you already have.

A few honest questions about your fees, your last tax conversation, and what your advisor actually does. You walk away with a number and a short list of things to ask.

No charge. You keep the results.
